Licenses
Two different questions get answered here: what you may do with what you generated, and whose terms apply to it besides ours.
Effective date:
1. What you generate
Subject to your account being in good standing and to the rules below, you may use the images, video, audio and text you generate on Neuvix, including commercially. We claim no ownership of your output.
Generated output is not automatically clear to publish. Whether a particular result infringes someone’s rights depends on what you asked for and what you do with it, and that judgement is yours to make.
The full grant, and the limits on it, are in the Terms of Use.
2. What you upload
Your prompts, uploads and source files stay yours. Uploading them does not transfer ownership to us.
You do grant us the permission needed to operate the service on them: to store them, to send them to the model provider that executes your request, and to show them back to you and to anyone you deliberately publish or share them with.
3. Model providers
Generations are executed by third-party model providers, and each provider applies its own terms and usage policies to requests made through it. Those terms apply to your generation in addition to ours, and a provider may refuse a request that ours would allow.
Which provider runs a given request depends on the model you choose; the model picker in each workspace names the engine for every option it offers. The roster changes as models are added and retired, so it is the picker rather than this page that is current.
4. Our own material
Everything the platform itself supplies stays ours or our licensors’, and a licence to use the service is not a licence to reuse these:
- The Neuvix name, logo, interface design and copy.
- Sample media, preset thumbnails, curated boards and other material shipped with the product to demonstrate it.
- Work published by other people in the community. Viewing it is not permission to republish it. That is theirs to give.
5. Open-source components
The service is built on open-source software, each component under its own licence, and those licences are complied with in the distributed application.
For the notices applying to a specific released version, write to the address on the Contact page naming the version, and they will be provided.
6. IP country database
Automatic country detection uses DB-IP Country Lite under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Lookups run inside Neuvix infrastructure; visitor IP addresses are not sent to DB-IP for this lookup.
IP Geolocation by DB-IP.
7. Rights claims
If you believe something on Neuvix infringes your rights, write to us through Contact with:
- The work you hold rights in, and the material you say infringes it.
- Where that material is: a link to the post or page.
- A statement that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
- A contact address we can reply to.
